Teddy Bear Rhythms is especially designed for young children and adults to enjoy learning Music & Movement together in a relaxed environment. The process builds self-esteem and confidence. Best of all, the shared fun creates a warm bond between you and your child.

Basic musical competency - the ability to feel the beat and sing in tune, is developed through a rich variety of activities. Children march with basic rhythmic and tonal instruments, learn finger plays, seasonal songs, and chants.

Much of class time is spent "on the move" with circle games & free movement accompanied by cello, piano and guitar. Puppets, balls, pinwheels, scarves, rhythm sticks, drums, pony reins and elastics are used to enhance focus and fantasy play.

The goal is not simply to train little musicians, but to nurture happy families and fine young people.

Level 1: Birth-18 months (9:15)

Teddy Bear Rhythms foundation class takes the child out of the "babble stage" to develop basic musical skills. The goal in this class is to help young people feel comfortable in a group activity and confident of their bodies as they discover the joy of singing and moving to music.

Level 2: Mixed Ages 12-48 months (10:15)

Teddy Bear Rhythms Level 2 classes expand the child's basic musical skills. More challenging melodies, rhythmic patterns and movements are taught. Harmony is introduced with echo games & rounds. Combining all ages provides a joyous opportunity for siblings & families to participate together.

Tuition includes:
Weekly 45-minute classes, a professionally recorded CD, an illustrated songbook, and our Parent Guide.

Make-up Classes
If you cannot attend your regularly scheduled class, it can be made-up at another location any time during the term. Please call in advance to confirm time and space.

Fees
Tuition is due on or before the first class. Infants under 6 months attend free with a registered sibling. Credit is given for long illness or exceptional circumstances.
